ShSSL File Transferis a program which has 2 parts, CGI Program workds on Web server, and Client Program which has finder like GUI.
Web Server CGI is implemented in Python. Verified working on Python version 2.2.
Please make sure the CIGI will work of not on your Web server to look inside the source courde.
Secure Web server and file server will communicate in Python ftplib.
Usually, hosting providers secure Web server and FTP server are reside on same LAN. As far as those servers reside on such environment, plain text communication won't go through the unknow networkds.
